The SCHLEE magnetic levitation high-efficiency centrifugal chiller is the latest-generation oil-free, inverter-driven magnetic levitation unit featuring core proprietary technologies. Its cooling capacity ranges from 600 kW to 4,220 kW, and it uses R134a refrigerant, making it even more energy-efficient and highly effective. The entire series boasts a nominal coefficient of performance (COP) as high as 6.8, with a nominal integrated part-load performance coefficient reaching 11.68. This series offers numerous advantages, including oil-free efficiency, operational stability and reliability, wide operating range, low noise and environmental friendliness, and cost savings. It incorporates several core technologies accumulated over many years, such as aerospace aerodynamic technology, magnetic levitation bearing control technology, microchannel refrigerant heat dissipation inverter technology, and high-efficiency permanent magnet synchronous motor technology. This series can be widely applied across various industries and building sectors—including pharmaceuticals, food processing, electronics, new energy, chemical engineering, airports, rail transit, hotels, commercial facilities, and both new construction and renovation projects—providing customers with efficient and energy-saving refrigeration system solutions.
[Core Advantages]
Adopting the most advanced oil-free, high-efficiency magnetic levitation compressor and permanent magnet synchronous motor, this model achieves a 4% improvement in full-load energy efficiency compared to conventional magnetic levitation compressors.
Falling-film evaporator—enhances the heat transfer efficiency of the evaporator;
The compressor features a compact structure and can be configured with multiple compressors connected in parallel via multiple refrigeration circuits, effectively controlling the overall size of the unit. Its layout is both rational and aesthetically pleasing.
The unit starts via variable-frequency drive, resulting in a low starting current and effectively reducing the impact of the unit’s startup process on the customer’s power grid.
The unit can intelligently control frequency conversion based on load, with a load adjustment range of 10% to 100%.
The unit has low noise levels, with operating noise as low as 70 dB(A).
The unit has low maintenance and servicing costs, features an oil-free system, and requires no oil changes or oil-line cleaning during maintenance.
[Working Principle]
The magnetic levitation water-cooled unit is based on a vapor-compression refrigeration cycle, with its core breakthrough lying in the adoption of a magnetic levitation centrifugal compressor. During operation, the refrigerant absorbs heat from the chilled water in the evaporator and then vaporizes. It subsequently enters the magnetic levitation compressor—where electromagnetic forces levitate the rotor and enable it to rotate at extremely high speeds, achieving highly efficient compression that is completely oil-free and involves zero friction. This process transforms the refrigerant into a high-temperature, high-pressure gas. In the condenser, this gas exchanges heat with cooling water and condenses into a liquid. Finally, after passing through a throttling device to reduce pressure, the refrigerant returns to the evaporator, thus completing a continuous refrigeration cycle. Throughout this entire process, magnetic levitation technology enables a significant improvement in energy efficiency and a substantial reduction in operational losses.
