  The water-cooled screw chiller is a high-efficiency refrigeration product developed by SCHLEE over many years of R&D experience and leveraging mature technologies, offering stable performance and reliable operation. The SCHLEE water-cooled screw chiller series covers a single-unit cooling capacity ranging from 24 to 4,330 kW, with chilled water outlet temperatures spanning from -40°C to 10°C. It is compatible with a variety of refrigerants, including R22, R134a, and R404a, making it suitable for diverse application scenarios. Drawing on advanced industry design concepts, this series integrates high energy efficiency, long service life, intelligent control, and a compact structure, enabling it to meet the cooling needs of various central air-conditioning systems and industrial processes. The SCH series water-cooled screw chillers incorporate features from many other products; they feature imported, original semi-hermetic screw compressors and are equipped with highly efficient heat exchangers. A microcomputer controller ensures that the unit boasts a compact appearance, a rational layout, and ease of use and maintenance. Users only need to connect the water piping system and the required power supply to get the unit up and running. This series of chillers has a wide range of applications: it can provide chilled water for central air-conditioning systems in hotels, hospitals, sports stadiums, restaurants, entertainment centers, commercial buildings, office towers, and other similar venues; or it can supply process chilled water for industrial enterprises in sectors such as printing, textiles, chemicals, and petroleum. This product benefits from mature manufacturing technology and delivers stable, reliable operation.

 

[Core Advantages]

  High efficiency and energy savings: The unit is equipped with an imported semi-hermetic screw compressor and features intelligent multi-stage energy modulation. Based on changes in the load, the unit can be intelligently controlled via a programmed system to operate at 100%, 75%, 50%, 25% (or startup), or 0%, thereby significantly reducing energy consumption and lowering operational energy costs.

  Easy installation: The unit features a highly integrated, compact design that significantly saves space in the machine room. Before leaving the factory, the entire unit has undergone comprehensive performance testing and is optimized to reach its best design state. The equipment operates smoothly with minimal vibration, eliminating the need for complex foundations. On-site, all that’s required is connecting the chilled water and cooling water pipelines and plugging in the power supply to quickly get the unit up and running.

  Low operation and maintenance costs: The SCHLEE water-cooled screw unit’s core power source is a screw compressor, whose mechanical structure is remarkably simplified. The number of moving parts is only one-tenth that of reciprocating compressors, and it features no vulnerable intake or exhaust valve plates. Moreover, the unit exhibits high tolerance to wet compression, ensuring an exceptionally low failure rate right from the design stage. The compressor in this unit boasts a long design life, with trouble-free operation lasting up to 40,000 hours, significantly reducing maintenance frequency and long-term operating costs.

 

[Working Principle]

  The unit operates according to a vapor-compression refrigeration cycle. The refrigerant absorbs heat from the chilled water in the evaporator, then evaporates into a gas. This gas is compressed by a screw compressor into high-temperature, high-pressure superheated vapor. The vapor then enters the condenser, where it is condensed into a liquid by cooling water. After passing through a throttling device that reduces its pressure and lowers its temperature, the refrigerant returns to the evaporator, completing the cycle and enabling continuous refrigeration.
